Early registration ends Feb. 13 for spring in-town baseball

Registration is open online for the Lewisboro Baseball Association’s 2013 spring in-town baseball season. The early bird fee of $175 is available for all who register by Tuesday, Feb. 13, after which the regular fee of $200 (all registrations received on or after Feb. 14) will be assessed. The family discount of $20 per child for multiple registrations will still apply.

Regular registration closes March 10. Late registrants will be subject to a waiting list.

Spring in-town baseball is open to all children currently enrolled in the first grade up to an official ‘league age’ of 16 (anyone born on or after May 1, 1996). Little League rules limit registration for first through sixth graders, along with seventh graders born on or after May 1, 1999, who live in the Increase Miller, Lewisboro or Meadow Pond School zones. Katonah Elementary School area residents born before May 1, 2000, may play in the LBA.

In-town evaluations are scheduled for Sunday, March 4, at John Jay High School, and teams will be announced in mid-March.

Opening Day is April 20.
