Boys basketball: Mahopac rallies to beat John Jay

The John Jay boys basketball team saw its losing streak extend to four straight with a 63-55 loss to Mahopac at home on Thursday.

The Indians (4-7) took a 44-38 lead into the fourth quarter but were outscored over the final eight minutes 25-11.

Nick Kiger led the John Jay scoring with 19 points and Jack Weiller hit for 17 points, including four three-pointers. Matt Bernstein drained three treys, finishing with 11 points. Will Jahn scored four points and Joe Kells and Jack Paccione had two points each.

Ryan Simone led Mahopac with 21 points.
