John Jay hosts annual ‘Rock The Halls’ benefit concert

The 5th annual ‘Rock The Halls’ charity concert will be held on Friday, Dec. 14, at 7 p.m. in the John Jay Middle School theater. This year’s proceeds will benefit Team Bean of the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society of Westchester County. Team Bean was formed in honor of Sabrina Marciante, 8, a third-grade student at Lewisboro Elementary School who is battling acute lymphocytic leukemia (ALL).

Half Way To Sanity, a band comprised of Katonah-Lewisboro school district teachers Jesse Weiss and Craig Jettleson, in addition to Dave Seligson and Nino Sidari, has performed together for the last 26 years at area clubs and private functions. They are again joined by student performers and musicians from the student body at John Jay Middle School. There will also be special guest performances by teachers David Fritsch, Mark Grossman and Spencer Eldridge, all musicians as well.

Tickets for this event are $10 each and are available for purchase online, at John Jay Middle School during the lunch shifts and at the door half an hour prior to the start of the show.
