Residents perform in orchestra in Ridgefield

The Western Connecticut Youth Orchestra, which includes six Lewisboro residents, will perform its first concert of the 2012-13 season on Sunday, Nov. 18, at 4 p.m. at the East Ridge Middle School auditorium in Ridgefield, Conn.

It will feature the WCYO Symphony Orchestra, Wind Ensemble and String Ensemble performing selections by Tchaikovsky, Prokofiev, Borodin, Dvorak, Giacchino, and others. The orchestra includes Cross River’s Courtney Manbeck on clarinet and South Salem’s Victoria Giordano on viola, Cameron and Jessica Moss on oboe, Evan Neu on clarinet, and Kate Rodgers on percussion.

Tickets are $15 for adults and children 12 years and older, and $10 for seniors and children under 12. Tickets will be available at the door the afternoon of the performance. For more information, visit, email [email protected] or call 203-894-8786.
