HAN Network is joining forces with Vantage Sports Network from Frontier Communications in time for HAN’s fall season, allowing Frontier subscribers to watch HAN’s coverage of Fairfield County high school sports.
After more than 1.5 million people watched HAN Network programming in its first year, even more will have access to coverage of the Fairfield County Interscholastic Athletic Conference — Connecticut’s premier high school sports conference.
Through this partnership, Frontier’s statewide subscribers will be able to watch HAN Network’s sports broadcasts on the Vantage Sports Network (Ch. 600/1600).
HAN Network debuts its fall sports action with two big football games: Trumbull at Ridgefield on Friday, Sept. 9, and Danbury at Stamford on Saturday, Sept. 10. HAN’s September schedule also includes FCIAC boys and girls soccer, volleyball and field hockey. You can see the complete HAN schedule at http://live.han.network/schedule/.
“This is an exciting milestone for the HAN Network and all the student-athletes in the FCIAC,” said Martin Hersam, CEO of the HAN Network. “Partnering with a premier entertainment provider in this state, Frontier Communications and the Vantage Sports Network, means a great deal to our network which launched just one year ago. Along with offering the most live sports action in the state, the HAN Network’s sports staff is among the most veteran sports reporters in southwestern Connecticut. Their insights and expertise is the cornerstone of our all of our sports content.”
