LLT to host hike at Mt. Holly Sanctuary

The Lewisboro Land Trust (LLT) will be hosting a family hike at Mt. Holly Sanctuary on July 10 at 10 a.m.
Bobbe Stultz of the LLT said families are welcome to attend the hike and that the hike will take 45 minutes. She also said that “the trail is wooded with oak and black birch, azalea and blueberry.  We’ve spotted pileated woodpeckers and coyotes on this trail.”
Stultz noted that the trail is not suitable for those with walking or mobility restrictions. The hike will be led by Helen Peeples and hike participants are recommended to wear hats, closed-toe shoes and bug spray.
“We hope you and your family will join us on this hike with cookies and lemonade at the conclusion,” Stultz said.
There is limited parking, if the small lot is full the LLT asks that people park along Mount Holly Road.
