Want to meet new people while helping out in your community? Please take the time to stop by the annual Lewisboro Volunteer Fair on Saturday, March 2, from 11 to 1. At the Volunteer Fair, local agencies set up tables in the Lewisboro library with information on their services and volunteer needs. Community members are invited to drop by that day to find out how they can be of service to their neighbors in need.
Participating groups this year include the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life, the Bedford Audubon Society, the Girl Scouts of Katonah/Lewisboro, Golden Roads, Guiding Eyes for the Blind, Hospice of Westchester/Putnam, the Lewisboro Garden Club, the Lewisboro Historical Society, the Lewisboro Land Trust, the Lewisboro Library, and the Lewisboro Volunteer Ambulance Corps. For more information, or to register your agency, contact Liz Gabriele at 763-3857. If you can’t make the fair but want to find out more about volunteering in the community, you may pick up a Volunteer Fair contact sheet at the library or view it on our website: lewisborolibrary.org.
