The John Jay hockey team opens the Section 1 Division 2 playoffs tonight (Wednesday) at 8:30 with a first-round game against eighth-seeded Pearl River at Brewster Ice Arena.
The Indians (18-1-1) are the top seed in the tournament.
A win would advance John Jay to Friday’s semifinals, at Brewster Ice Arena, against the winner of the game between fourth-seeded Pelham and fifth-seeded Scarsdale.
The championship game is Sunday at 1 at Brewster Ice Arena.
