GOP endorses DeLucia, Kelly for re-election

The Lewisboro Republican Town Committee has unanimously endorsed Town Board members Peter DeLucia and Frank Kelly and Town Justice Marc Seedorf for re-election this fall, said committee chair Andrea Rendo.

The committee is still interviewing candidates for supervisor and receiver of taxes.

A committee press release stated: “Looking towards the future, Ms. Rendo explained that when the Town Board candidates presented their goals for the next term to the committee, they outlined a proactive approach to local government aimed at building upon the progress they have made in enhancing revenue and increasing efficiency, and, she added, it would only make sense to want to see the town continue down that same path. All three candidates, Ms. Rendo pointed out, have always shown their continued commitment and dedication to our town and to the well-being of its residents.”

Mr. DeLucia is in his eighth year on the Town Board, including his fourth year as deputy supervisor, and Mr. Kelly is serving his fourth year on the board.

Mr. DeLucia is liaison to the Parks and Recreation Department, Zoning Board of Appeals, Building Department, Planning Board, and Architecture and Community Appearance Review Council. Mr. Kelly is liaison to the Emergency Management Committee, Police Department, Cable Television Advisory Committee, and Highway and Maintenance departments.

Mr. DeLucia is a deputy commissioner for the Westchester County Health Department and lives in Vista with his wife, Kim, and their twins.

Mr. Kelly lives in the Twin Lakes area with his wife, Kathy, and their five children. He is an attorney and a lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Army Reserves.

Mr. Seedorf is completing his fourth four-year term as a town justice.

He maintains a private practice and represents criminal defendants, civil litigants and victims of domestic violence.

Mr. Seedorf has been a Lewisboro resident since 1989; all three of his children attended Katonah-Lewisboro schools.
