The John Jay boys basketball team will open the Section 1 Class A playoffs on Wednesday with an outbracket game at Riverside High School in Yonkers.
The Indians are the 22nd seed and Riverside is seeded 11th.
The winner advances to play at sixth-seeded Tappan Zee on Friday night.

The Indians are seeded fifth. They will play the winner of Wednesday’s outbracket game between Poughkeepsie and Tappan Zee.
The times of the games have yet to be announced.
