Obituary: George P. Georgalos, 49, KLSD mechanic

George P. Georgalos of South Salem died on Sunday, Feb. 10 at Northern Westchester Hospital. He was 49.

Mr. Georgalos was born on Sept. 8, 1963, in Mount Vernon, to Denise Georgalos and the late Peter Georgalos.

Mr. Georgalos worked as a mechanic for the Katonah-Lewisboro school district.

He is survived by his wife, Alma (Norton) Georgalos; his mother, Denise Georgalos; his brother, Foti Georgalos, and his wife, Sassa; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, Feb. 14, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Clark Associates Funeral Home in Katonah. The funeral service will be held on Friday, Feb. 15 at 10 a.m. at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Cross River Cemetery.
