The Lewisboro Library’s folk concert series resumes Feb. 9 with a performance by folk group “Joy Kills Sorrow.” This Boston-based string band brings a decidedly modern sensibility to an old-world sound, channeling the prodigious talents of its individual members into elegant arrangements and well-crafted songs. Concerts begin at 8 p.m.; doors open at 7:30. Admission prices for adults are $12 in advance and $15 at the door. Seniors are $12 at the door and children 12 years and under are free. Concerts are presented through a partnership with Common Ground Community Concerts. Advance tickets may be ordered at commongroundfusw.com.
