A National Weather Service winter weather advisory is in effect for Northern Westchester from 12 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday.
One to two inches of snow and about one-tenth of an inch of ice are expected in the area overnight, as well as sleet and freezing rain. Temperatures are expected to be in the upper 20s or lower 30s.
Snow and sleet are expected to start about midnight and turn to freezing rain on Wednesday morning.
