The Westchester Library System just unveiled the new Enterprise library catalog, which was designed to improve the search experience for patrons. This user-friendly catalog has new features, such as the ability to use the check-out history to track what you’ve read, the option to create and store lists of books and media you want to read, and easy access to lists of the latest DVD/Blu-ray acquisitions or current New York Times best sellers. It also features “fuzzy logic” technology that makes searching more accurate and provides results even when there may be a grammatical error (no more not being able to find an item because you don’t have the exact spelling!).
