Officials accepted the Nov. 23 resignation of Joan Dooley, the town’s dog control officer.
Ms. Dooley has served in the post for several years. They appointed Christine McKenna as her replacement.
Officials accepted the resignation with regret, saying Ms. Dooley had done a great job and was an asset to the town. “We thank her for her excellent service over the years,” said Town Board member John Pappalardo.
