The Katonah Museum of Art’s Young Artists program will begin its 30th year with a poster design workshop on Wednesday, Nov. 28. The program is aimed at high school art teachers and their students, whose artwork gets showcased in this annual exhibition.
Students in the workshop will be led by a professional graphic designer to create the Young Artists 2013 invitation.
In January, senior students’ artwork will be selected by teachers, framed, and delivered to the museum for the exhibition. Representative students from each school will help curate and install the exhibition. The opening reception will take place on Sunday, Feb. 3, from 3 to 5. The exhibition will run from Feb. 3 through Feb. 10.
