Residents perform in orchestra in Ridgefield

The Western Connecticut Youth Orchestra, which includes six Lewisboro residents, will perform its first concert of the 2012-13 season on Sunday, Nov. 18, at 4 p.m. at the East Ridge Middle School auditorium in Ridgefield, Conn.

It will feature the WCYO Symphony Orchestra, Wind Ensemble and String Ensemble performing selections by Tchaikovsky, Prokofiev, Borodin, Dvorak, Giacchino, and others. The orchestra includes Cross River’s Courtney Manbeck on clarinet and South Salem’s Victoria Giordano on viola, Cameron and Jessica Moss on oboe, Evan Neu on clarinet, and Kate Rodgers on percussion.

Tickets are $15 for adults and children 12 years and older, and $10 for seniors and children under 12. Tickets will be available at the door the afternoon of the performance. For more information, visit wctyo.org, email info@wctyo.org or call 203-894-8786.

    @linuxpowerification because Nokia sells over 400 miollin phones a year that a lot of phones. .and what so bad with symbian? Its stable, low powerconuming and reliable. Android´╗┐ is great, and pushes development but that does not automaticly make Symbian bad Symbian^3 as full opensource, combined soon with Symbian^4 with more customisable and more modern desifgn will kick ass.
